Tunnel Road
Tunnel Road is a tricky 3D obstacle-avoiding arcade game featuring trippy neon graphics, fast-paced gameplay, and a competitive 2-player split-screen mode. Even though the developers didn’t state the following, if you have a history of photo-sensitive epilepsy, you should definitely skip playing this one. Otherwise, buckle up and enjoy a wild ride!
From a first-person perspective, you’re controlling a speedy object moving through the tube-like tunnel stacked with obstacles. Gravity isn’t accounted for, so you can slide across all of the surrounding walls effortlessly. The abrupt shift of perspective might cause a dizzying effect, though, at least until you’ve gotten used to it!
How to play Tunnel Road
Even though the gameplay seems endless, the never-ending tube is divided into segments, namely a multitude of levels. At the end of each, you’ll reach a wormhole and get teleported onto the next stage. Sometimes, you’ll slide across the outsides of a tunnel and not the insides, but the core gameplay mechanics remain the same.
To avoid crashing for as long as possible, it’s essential to act preemptively and position properly as soon as you spot the upcoming array of obstacles. Since you’re moving so fast, even with cat-like reflexes, you won’t be able to react quickly enough and navigate the road successfully if you don’t start switching lanes before the barriers are close by.Â
