Battle Disc
Control a miniature stickman and triumph against AI opponents across 9 progressively more challenging levels in Battle Discs. This arcade sports game is very similar to air hockey, with a couple of unique twists. The stickmen competitors are standing atop the air hockey table, just like soccer players would.
Every level consists of three stages, with the final one being an especially tricky boss match. At both halves of the table, there are a couple of targets each of the teams must hit with the disc first to win. The tricky part is that you’re a one-man team playing against multiple AI stickmen in the majority of the rounds.
How to play Battle Disc
The AI defenders behave in predetermined patterns, so if you want to score a goal without them intercepting your shot, you’ll need to study their movements. This can be a tricky task when there are two or more stickmen. Nevertheless, it’s a solid winning strategy worth trying.
Defense is far trickier than scoring, though, and you should primarily focus on protecting your half-field. When the opponents take control of the disc, move the character back to make the goalkeeping task much easier. The corners of the table are concaved, so if the disc starts sliding across the sides, it will eventually reach its target unless intercepted.
What are the controls for Battle Disc?
Although Battle Disc was developed primarily for mobile users, it works flawlessly in a PC browser. However, the controls feel more intuitive on a touchscreen device.
Tap or click, then hold and drag to aim, and finally release to shoot the disc toward the enemy goal.
While defending, hold and drag to move the stickman protagonist around and intercept the incoming disc.
