Dead Land: Survival
Dead Land: Survival is an exquisite isometric 2D turn-based combat RPG with idle elements in which you’ll control a brave protagonist residing in a settlement scraped together by the handful of still uninfected humans. If you’re into post-apocalyptic thematic, slow but rewarding character progression, scavenging materials, crafting, exploration, and strategic battles, this just might become your new favorite browser game.
Even though the game is essentially 2D, the graphics are actually quite amazing, and from an isometric perspective, you can really sense the vastness of the now zombie-plagued world. The storyline is captivating, the audio artwork is amazing, and the gameplay is fairly complex but flawlessly broken into bite-sized chunks for you to intake without any trouble. Additionally, you can compete against other daring survivors from around the world in exciting PvP showdowns.Â
How to play Dead Land: Survival
Just as with any RPG, this isn’t a game you can complete in one sitting. Most zones in which you can actually battle against zombies for loot and XP can be visited every couple of hours. While the progression is slow and demands coming back countless times, it’s simultaneously very rewarding, so it won’t at all feel like a chore.
Subjectively, we feel that the best way to enjoy role-playing games is to explore extensively, read the dialogues, and expand game knowledge via tooltip texts. Even though the combat is amazing, since there’s so much stuff to do besides it, many players might actually enjoy the other gameplay components even more.
