Ragdoll Throw Challenge
Toss a variety of objects to eliminate the opposing stickmen in the 2D physics-based action game Ragdoll Throw Challenge. Aside from the default katana blades, you can toss dynamite at enemies, fire cannonballs at them, or shoot a bow and arrow. There are hundreds of levels available across the board and some epic accessories to equip the protagonist with.
The underlying physics engine does feel legit. However, your character’s movement is fairly limited as you can only move its arms. This makes the seemingly simple mechanics pretty hard to master, especially in the default katana-throwing mode. After some practice, though, the gameplay is really satisfying, and when enemies start attacking you too, it intensifies even further!
How to play Ragdoll Throw Challenge
Lest we forget, there’s a basketball dunking simulation that kind of feels out of place and only induces frustration, so we highly recommend skipping it. When throwing a katana or dynamite, you must first move the character’s arms to reach for it. Only then can you swing the arms back toward the target and hurl the weapon. A delicate balance of timing and angular momentum is the key to success.
Using the innately ranged weapons feels like walking in the park compared to using the katana, for example. Shooting the cannon is definitely the easiest mode, but aiming a bow and arrow with the stickman’s wobbly arms doesn’t always feel right.
