Merge Galaxy
Merge Galaxy is a high-score game that seamlessly blends elements of classic bubble shooters and identical object-merging puzzles. At the center of a galaxy far away, an unknown force pulls all the surrounding objects toward it. The objects in question are actually planets of varying sizes that you get to shoot from outer space.Â
When two identical planets collide, they merge, evolving into the bigger object of the next tier. The law of gravity applies to each shot you take, so the planets rarely move in a straight line but sort of orbit around the most massive objects until they settle somewhere inside the cluster. The game is over once a section of a planet occupies space outside the galaxy’s borders, marked with a dashed circle.
How to play Merge Galaxy
To keep playing for as long as possible, you want to try to keep the largest of planets next to the center of the galaxy, which is often easier said than done. If the smaller ones occupy the middle, they’re usually stuck there for good because you won’t really be able to do much about it.
In some cases, it will be necessary to place your shot at the back end of the cluster, and it’s going to take quite some practice until you’ve mastered this skill. The subtle adjustments of the shot’s power are crucial for success, and you kind of have to let gravity do the rest.
