Freestyle Racing
Freestyle Racing is a truly unique 2D driving simulation that doesn’t even require a keyboard or arrow keys to drive. While click-and-drag driving may seem weird at first, this game requires proficient hand-eye coordination if you’re vigilant enough to try and beat it. There are up to 30 levels featuring different race circuits, each posing fresh challenges. The AI opponents are quite unforgiving, so to get a perfect score on each track, you must drive nigh optimally. You don’t have to win every race to unlock the next level, however, but simply drive the required number of laps.
How to play Freestyle Racing
If you’re a tryhard like I am, you surely want to beat every single game you get your hands on. The very start is often the deciding part of the race since you can’t really affect the speed of your vehicle but only its trajectory. If you fall behind early, you’ll be forced to cut corners to catch up, which often leads to disastrous accidents from which you’re unlikely to recover.
Try to bump other cars at the very start to gain an initial advantage. Doing this in the first few turns on each track is of the utmost importance. Once you’re ahead of the AI opponents, don’t ever let them overtake you since it’s often impossible to pull ahead. Position the tail of your ride so they bump into it as they attempt to take the first place.
