How to play Mancala?

The main objective is to capture more stones than your opponent. The game board consists of two rows of six pits (also called houses) and two larger pits (called stores) at each end. At the start of the game, each pit contains an equal number of stones. Here’s how to play:

1. Setup: Each player has a row of six pits in front of them and a store to their right. All pits start with an equal number of stones, typically four.
2. Taking Turns: Players take turns picking up all the stones in one of their pits and distributing them, one by one, into subsequent pits in a counterclockwise direction.
3. Scoring: If the last stone lands in the player’s store, they get an extra turn. If it lands in an empty pit on their side, they capture that stone and any stones in the opposite pit, placing them in their store.
4. Winning: The game ends when all six pits on one side of the board are empty. The player with the most stones in their store wins.
