PLEASE DONT FEED ME
PLEASE DON’T FEED ME is a bizarre, darkly comedic roguelike/deck-builder where you play as a monstrous force trying to force a man to eat four pineapples. The catch? You must carefully balance his capacity, manage risks, and avoid having him puke and reset progress. The game was made in a 72-hour game jam by the same crazy guy behind GET YOKED.
How to Play PLEASE DON’T FEED ME
You take on the role of the “monster feeder.” Each turn, you choose food items (cards) to force into the target’s mouth. Simpler foods yield cash, which you can then use between turns to purchase stronger or more expensive food cards. As the man eats, he gets fatter, which increases his capacity (i.e. how much more he can take).
But here’s where it gets tricky: if you overfeed him beyond what he can handle, he vomits (a “purge” event), and you lose the gains of that run. Some foods even carry special tags (like “Binge!”) that make them riskier to use. You’ll need to manage which foods to play, when to push harder, and when to back off. The ultimate goal: get him to eat four pineapples in a single run. Pineapples are expensive and risky, so timing matters.
Each attempt is a balance. Do you play safer meals to gradually build tolerance? Or go for riskier, high-reward foods early? If you push too far too fast, you’ll lose it all. Over time you unlock more variety in food cards and strategies.
