Backrooms
Backrooms drops you into the internet’s favorite fluorescent nightmare and asks a simple question: can you keep your head when the wallpaper won’t end and the buzz never stops? This browser friendly take on the Backrooms series leans on the original creepypasta vibe where you noclip into level zero and try not to lose your bearings.
How to Play Backrooms?
You wake up in a mono yellow labyrinth that looks harmless until the corridors start looping and the hum gets under your skin. Your job is to survey, orient, and escape. Start by picking a consistent routing pattern so you don’t spiral in circles. Track landmarks like stained carpet patches, dropped notes, or odd props to breadcrumb your path. When the ambience shifts or the lights flicker, slow down and listen. Sound carries in these rooms, so use corners to check lines of sight before committing to long hallways. If you hear something you don’t like, break vision with hard turns and use perpendicular corridors to reset pursuit.
