Backgammon Narde Online
Backgammon Narde Online is a digital version of the ancient board game, Backgammon. Known for its strategic depth and rich history dating back nearly 5,000 years to Mesopotamia, this game pits two players against each other in a race to bear off all their checkers first.
How to play Backgammon Narde Online?
In Backgammon Narde Online, each player begins by rolling a single die. The player with the higher number gets to use both dice for their first move. If a player rolls a double (the same number on both dice), they can make a double move, allowing for more strategic flexibility. For example, rolling double twos allows you to move four checkers two points each.
Each of your fifteen checkers moves independently. Checkers can be placed on any point that is not blocked by your opponent. A point is considered blocked if your opponent has two or more checkers on it. Conversely, a point is accessible if it meets one of the following conditions:
- It is empty,
- It has only one of your opponent’s checkers (allowing you to hit and move their checker to the bar),
- It is occupied by one or more of your checkers.
When you land on a point occupied by a single opponent's checker, that checker is sent to the middle bar. Your opponent must move the checker off the bar before making any other moves. The objective is to bear off all fifteen checkers from the board before your opponent does.
