You’re playing against an AI opponent, and the first one to score 3 points wins. While the core game mechanics remain the same, the developers did a great job with different level designs, so no two matchups are quite alike. How to play Basket Battle

Each of the players has their own basketball. At the beginning of each level, you’re both below the rim. This essentially means that it’s nigh impossible to score within a single move. Therefore, you want to throw the ball above the hoop, and as soon as it’s up there, teleport to the location and throw it down an easy swish.

Keep in mind that while you’re holding the controls, the gameplay unfolds in slow motion, which gives you more than enough breathing room to adjust your shot. Don’t celebrate when you score the first bucket, but take control of the ball as soon as it goes through the rim to score more easy points in a row.
