How to play Chess Free
Chess is a game of creativity, knowledge, strategy, and tactics. It can be enjoyed competitively but also casually so it’s an awesome brain exercise for players of all skill levels. If you’ve just started playing, look up a couple of openings for both black and white pieces and stick to them at least for the first couple of moves. You want to set as many pieces in motion (namely knights and bishops) and control the middle of the board to transition into midgame seamlessly.
Because the possible combinations are nearly limitless, no two games are quite alike, which makes chess probably the most replayable game ever invented. Analyze the mistakes made and enjoy the learning process, since just like in most 1-vs-1 games, the true fun begins when you start dominating!
What are the controls for Chess Free?
You can play Chess Free on PC and mobile devices alike. Tap or click to select the piece you want to play with then do the same with the appropriate tile on the board to move the selected piece. Tap or click anywhere else to discard the selection.
