EI.Soul is a mind-boggling 2D point-and-click puzzle game in which you’re tasked with helping the protagonist, Rena, on an investigation of a mysterious disappearance case in a small remote town. The extraordinary gameplay unfolds as sort of an interactive comic. There’s a futuristic robot assistant that introduces you to the basic game mechanics and helps you connect the pieces of the story.

For the most part, though, you’re pretty much in the dark and must figure out everything yourself. There are plenty of objects to interact with, some of which you’ll add to the inventory, but making sense of what must be done with them is a real brain teaser. Despite the god-tier difficulty, there’s a delicate thread of logic connecting all the puzzles, so you had better put the thinking hat on!

How to play EI.Soul

Analyze the puzzles presented thoroughly and try to dissect them into tiny chunks, then slowly work your way toward the bigger solutions. Whenever you reach a dead end, try a few other methods before disregarding the initial idea completely.

If you feel completely stuck, take a short break and come back later to tackle the problems from a different perspective.
