The graphics are humble, but the gameplay is quite challenging, and it may take a while for you to figure out all the tasks you must complete. The music fits the stirring atmosphere perfectly, so make sure to put the headphones on for additional immersion.

You only have 5 minutes to escape before the poisonous gas is leaked into the basement, so it’s next to impossible to beat this game in a single playthrough. As any good detective, leave no stone unturned, look for subtle clues in every room, and find useful items to aid you in your break out. 

How to play Escape or Die

The basement you’re trapped in has a small window you might be able to squeeze through. It’s a bit high to reach, but if you’re able to find a ladder somewhere, it’s definitely doable. 

There’s a padlock on the window that prevents an easy escape, so you’ll have to conjure a solution to get rid of it. Luckily there are some potent chemicals in the next room, and if you find all the vials necessary you might be able to figure something out. 

Don’t try to make sense of the electrical switches in the beginning because it will be time-inefficient, but rather click each and every one of them until you’ve guessed the correct combination.
