Guns and Magic
The creatures of the void have managed to open the portals into our world, and in Guns and Magic, you’re on a quest to protect the ranch from this otherworldly invasion. After years of living in a desolate location, our protagonist seems to have become the ultimate doomsday prepper, almost as if he was expecting such a diabolical outcome.
You can never be too prepared for the end of the world, and even though our hero has learned to cast epic magic missiles, conjuring spells alone won’t be enough to repel the dark army. Fortunately, there are a couple of defensive structures to build, a drone to purchase, and even a tornado to summon during the hardest of times.
How to play Guns and Magic
The enemies are spawning from three portals in the ground placed in different lanes of the fenced area. Each monstrosity stubbornly marches toward the ranch and won’t pay any attention to whatever you’re doing. If any of them reaches your home, however, the game is over.
Activating the drone is the best thing to do at the very beginning of each level. It’s free and will attack the most threatening targets at a constant rate. Eliminated invaders will drop gems you can use to purchase and upgrade other defensive structures, such as turrets, walls, and spike traps. While all of these pack quite a punch, their efficiency is limited to the single lane they’re built in.
