Idle Army: Battle for the Lands is a captivating 2D real-time strategy with minimalistic graphics and tactical upgrade-heavy gameplay. The soldiers are represented as simple circles wielding weapons, and once deployed on the battlefield, you no longer have control of their actions. They move, attack forts, fight enemies, slay, and die according to the encoded AI patterns.

With each structure destroyed or an enemy killed, you earn cash to spend on instant upgrades or additional reinforcements. You must spend the coins wisely because each subsequent tier of improvements is becoming more and more expensive. Each Episode you need to complete consists of 15 Rounds, and in between the attempts, there are various passive stats you can boost to come back stronger the next time around.

How to play Idle Army: Battle for the Lands

For the most part, you’ll deploy basic melee units onto the battlefield. If you save up enough coins, you can unlock additional troops such as archers, healers, ranged AoE damage dealers, etc. The majority of damage in each round will be dealt to the forts since they’re more numerous than the opposing army. The numbers inside forts or units represent their current HP.

You don’t want to spawn too many soldiers in the beginning because each next one you purchase is exponentially more expensive. If you’re able to dominate the battles with half a dozen soldiers, spend the cash earned on stat upgrades. In dire times, you’ll be able to purchase multiple units quickly because, with this strategy, they shouldn’t be too costly.
