Original Classic Solitaire
The objective of Original Classic Solitaire is to arrange the cards in four piles called foundations in ascending order (ace to king). Each foundation houses a single suit, and to start stacking, you must first find an ace. The cards already placed on the table (28 of them in total) are the ones you’ll be playing with first. Suits of different colors can be piled atop each other in a descending manner. Once the face-down cards are freed up, they’ll flip, thus creating additional opportunities.
How to play Original Classic Solitaire
When playing Original Classic Solitaire, it’s a good idea to draw a card from the stash first, before you start stacking cards on the tableau. This will create additional combinations, which is a good thing in any card game.
Only kings can be appointed to the cleared slots on the table. When you open the final card in each stack, don’t move it unless you already have a king ready to take its place. If you have a choice of both red and black kings, take your time to analyze the other cards you’re having trouble placing, as the king determines the order of colors for each following card.
Having multiple evenly distributed stacks is probably the most secure way to achieve victory. Attempt to deal with the face-down cards as soon as possible, and don’t overlook the given opportunities.
Original Classic Solitaire hard mode
In the “Settings” menu, you can check “Draw 3” to draw three cards from the stash instead of one. You can only play the top card and use the remaining ones only after they’re freed up. This option will increase the difficulty of the classic card game.
