Extreme Pamplona
Take on a wild tour across Europe in the fast-paced platform-running game Extreme Pamplona! Themed after the world-renowned festival that involves citizens running alongside raging bulls through the narrow streets of the Spanish city of Pamplona, you’ll really feel the thrills and kicks of actually participating in this crazy event.
While the gameplay mechanics remain the same throughout the game, each new country you’ll race through is depicted using some comical stereotypes. If you care much about political correctness, you might be offended by some, but otherwise, you’ll probably just laugh it out. The graphics are actually pretty good, the animations are fluid, and each stage won’t take more than a couple of minutes to complete.
How to play Extreme Pamplona
After outrunning the bull in the first stage, you get to choose the upcoming races, each taking place in a different European country, only to return to Spain for the fifth and final one. In Germany, for example, you’ll get chased by a beer-serving lady, in Switzerland, you’ll ride a snowboard, and in Sweden, an elderly man chases you through their traditional baths.
The protagonist is very agile and can jump surprisingly high. Try to figure out how much distance and elevation each leap covers, as this will help you get the jump timings just right. Stay locked in on the obstacles ahead, and you shouldn’t have much trouble traversing them.
What are the controls for Extreme Pamplona?
Unfortunately, Extreme Pamplona isn’t optimized for mobile web, and you can currently play it for free exclusively in a PC browser. Use the arrow keys to move left or right, and the spacebar to perform timely jumps. If you’re an avid mobile gamer, make sure to check out some of the best running games on our website!
