Sports Minibattles
Compete against a savvy AI opponent or a friend in the 2-player game mode (PC exclusive) across a total of 4 Sports Minibattles! Volleyball, basketball, soccer, and tennis — all played 1vs1 with hilarious 2D character models. The graphics are funny, the sound effects are epic, and the gameplay is quite challenging, especially while playing against the AI.
Before every match, the sport you’ll play is randomly picked among the four available, keeping you on your toes. You may find some of the minigames easier compared to others, but this game is definitely best enjoyed in the 2-player mode because the AI is pretty damn strong.
How to play Sports Minibattles
Meticulous use of movement controls and above-average hand-eye coordination are crucial to have a chance of defeating the AI in most of the sports available. Here’s a quick preview of all the minigames ranked by difficulty:
- Soccer — Easy. Defend and capitalize on the opponent’s mistakes.
- Volleyball — Medium. Takes some effort to get the timings right.
- Tennis — Hard. Just like volleyball, but harder.
- Basketball — Nightmare. Feels like playing against Kobe Bryant.
While challenging a friend, though, all the sports are quite hilarious and much more enjoyable, so we highly recommend playing this awesome sports simulation in the 2-player game mode.
