How to play Clean The Ocean

The gameplay is divided into two parts. First, you drive the boat around and pick up trash floating in the water. Once the boat reaches its maximum carrying capacity, you take it back to the island and engage in the second part — recycling. Sort out the waste into the appropriate bins: plastic, glass, metal, paper, and electronic.

For each item recycled, you’ll earn money that can be spent on up to 4 boat Upgrades: Speed Catch, Capacity, Catch radius, and Boat speed. For optimal progression, we strongly recommend improving all the stats somewhat evenly. Soccer balls picked up from the ocean can be used to score goals at the island and unlock additional gifts. 

What are the controls for Clean The Ocean?

You can play Clean The Ocean on mobile and PC devices alike. While on the boat, the virtual joystick appears once you tap or click anywhere on the screen. Hold and drag to drive the boat around. At the base, tap or hold on the trash, then hold and drag to put it into the appropriate garbage bin.
