Demon Bluff
Demon Bluff throws you into a single player social deduction puzzle where every villager has a story and at least a few of them are bold-faced liars. You reveal character cards, weigh their claims, then knife the fakes before they knife your run. The demo lives in your browser with a fuller PC release coming to Steam soon (check it out here!), and it wears its love of Blood on the Clocktower right on its sleeve without being a clone.
How to Play Demon Bluff?
You start each round with a row of facedown character cards. Flip cards to learn who they claim to be and what they “know.” Your goal is to execute all Evil before your health hits zero. You have 10 health and each wrong execution or fatal misread smacks you for 5, so you can only afford two big blunders per village. Evil cards lie, Corrupted cards also lie, and certain roles disguise themselves so you must cross check statements instead of trusting the first smooth talker you flip. Execute by clicking the dagger on a suspect’s card, then use the fallout from that kill to re-evaluate everyone else. Watch for duplicates of roles that should be unique, track contradictions, and remember that some “truths” can still be weaponized to solve the puzzle backward. Standard Mode now runs to Village 12 with scoring that favors fewer deaths and fewer flips, so the cleanest solves beat noisy bingo-card clicking.
